A resident of Jamaica Plain in Boston, MA since 1991, I paint mostly land and cityscapes, in and around Boston, greater New England, and other places I have travelled to visit. I’ve been experimenting with different styles and techniques - my influences are many, including but not limited to Fauvism, Abstract Expressionism, the impressionists and many modern landscape painters.

 I’d like to make paintings that feel natural, open and expansive to the viewer. If I could, I would just throw the paint up into the air and let it land at once, on the canvas.  Something immediate, direct, and full of possibility.
